Steer and Sweep License Agreement

This agreement covers the versions of Steer and Sweep that you download from this website (the "apps"). SpacewhY, operated by Maksim Smatrou ("we", "us"), makes the apps. If you got an app from the Mac App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to it instead.

By downloading, installing, or using an app, you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree, do not download or use the apps.

License

We give you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the apps on Macs that you own or control, for personal or work use. We keep all rights in the apps that this agreement does not give you.

Restrictions

You may not sell, rent, or share copies of the apps, or offer them for download elsewhere. Share a link to this website instead. You may not change the apps or remove our notices. You may not decompile or reverse engineer the apps, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.

Open source components

The apps may include open source software. Each open source component is covered by its own license. Where that license gives you more rights than this agreement, the open source license applies to that component.

Your files

Steer changes instruction files on your Mac when you save edits. Sweep can move files to the Trash or delete them permanently. Permanently deleted files may not be recoverable. You decide which files to change or delete, and you are responsible for keeping backups of data that matters to you.

Updates and support

We may release new versions on this website, but we do not have to. We offer support by email on a best effort basis.

Privacy

The Steer privacy policy and the Sweep privacy policy explain how each app handles your information.

No warranty

We provide the apps "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that the apps are free of errors or that they fit your needs.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, that come from using or not being able to use the apps. This applies even if we knew such damage was possible. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

Termination

This license ends automatically if you break this agreement. When it ends, you must stop using the apps and delete all copies.

Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement. Any changes will appear on this page with an updated date. The new version applies to versions of the apps you download after that date.
